STOCKHOLM, Oct 8, 2026: Abundry builds energy system planning, Ertzy builds energy asset control. Now they join forces to create the complete decision-making platform to enable more effective energy systems and to unlock growth opportunities for energy intensive companies.

Abundry launched this summer on a simple thesis: the next era of energy will not only be defined by how much we build, but also by how intelligently we run what already exists. More electricity and more infrastructure are not the sole answer. Europe's grid was built for centralized power, sent one way to consumers who only receive it. Abundry connects energy pricing and access with customer needs and unites this into a holistic asset steering platform. This unlocks a truly smart grid – one that communicates both ways.

Founded in 2023, Ertzy is one of few European companies in a market largely dominated by Asian players. It has developed its own energy management system (EMS), embedded control software and BESS architecture, while also combining different battery chemistries to improve efficiency. 

Ertzy's planning and asset-control technology becomes a core part of Abundry's optimization platform. The platform uses a grid connection as efficiently as possible by coordinating every asset, load and load profile behind it, storing, shifting and releasing energy. Customers can evaluate investments, adapt operations as demand and conditions change, and scale without running into a power ceiling. The same coordination raises the utilization of the existing grid.

The two companies merge under the Abundry brand with one main mission: to unlock abundant energy, from a single site to entire regions. 

“By reading power signatures and coordinating assets behind the meter against external signals, we make the gap between contracted and actual load visible. That enables us to optimise the utilisation of existing grid connections and turn observable unused capacity into the foundation for conditional grid connections,” says Abundry CPO Philip Berlin. 

Abundry is already incorporating the platform on a trial basis with customers under NDA. Thus far, findings indicate that by evening out the energy cycle, there´s potential to unlock up to over 20% growth space for large energy users and producers. Abundry will initially target data centers, energy production facilities and other energy intensive industries.
